I am a 42 year old single mother of two beautiful children. I was diagnosed in 2001 with Meniere’s Disease (Bilateral). After being diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Crohn’s Disease, 6mm lipoma (center brain), and surviving Melanoma; I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Disease in 2005. I had very little support, not enough answers and there was no social media for me to locate any real advice. At times I was bedridden and felt worthless. I eventually had to give up a wonderful career in law and found myself in a bad place being told by the person in my daily life that I was a faker, lazy, and down right pathetic. However, I still managed to push through every day, broken.
In 2014, I find myself a single mother of 2 kids as I was struggling with the loss of so much and so many. I never truly mourned anything in my life. It resulted in a drop attack that literally took my hearing completely from my left ear. I was only 30% hearing in right ear at that time. This is when I realized that life and disease were no longer playing games. They wanted my soul. It was at the moment of darkness that I became “Gina Marie” and determined if it was a fight they wanted, then a warrior they would get. At the end of the day, you can’t break what is already PERFECTLY BROKEN.

♡ Change your thinking.
♡ You can’t break someone that’s already Perfectly Broken.
I will continue to educate others on new treatments, experienced opinions, source availability, research articles and staying positive in the mind.

I have to wonder if you’re the same Gina whose blog I’d read so many years ago. I remember her talking about all the time she spent on her couch due to the dizziness and balance issues. I thought of her (you?) as I’m currently dealing with balance issues and tinnitus in my right ear.

Hello. I don’t believe so as my blog here was just started this year. However, I am the Founder of the closed FB group, Meniere’s and Vertigo Without Borders and my open page has been running on Facebook called The Inside Leak. It did have that cover picture but that was changed along with name. I’ve been Inspiring through social media for about 3 years so I may be her…!? 🤗
I found a way off the couch by now helping others, raising awareness, writing articles and new med combos.

Could you be the same Gina Marie whose blog I used to read ages ago? The site was white with a bit of green border of memory serves me correctly. I was just thinking of her (you?) as I currently struggle with my own issues which may be Menieres (sp) and Googled your name and found this site. I hate that you’re still having so many issues. I often feel like my body hates me. I try hard to do the right things for it and am losing confidence in doctors because often I feel like they’re suggestions make things worse.
